Fervent Prayer
Have you ever prayed and wondered if God heard your prayer? Daniel, the one who was rescued out of the lion’s den, found himself waiting on an answered prayer. Daniel prayed intensely to God, but for weeks did not get a response. Finally, an angel appeared and confirmed to Daniel that God heard his prayers and that angels were fighting on Daniel’s behalf for his breakthrough.
Daniel’s prayer breakthrough confirms that we must stay confident that God hears and answers our prayers in his timing. We must have full confidence that God will deliver and know that his angels are fighting on our behalf, just like they fought on Daniel’s behalf. Do not let a delay cause you to doubt the deliverance that God has waiting on you!
Ephesians 6:12 & 18 (NIV) ~For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms; And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
