Moms with Swords Spring 2018: Ascend.

We are currently getting ready for the Spring 2018 session: Ascend, Thursdays, beginning March 1st 9:30-11:30am. This will be an 8 week session.

This session we will be offering three break-out groups in addition to our regular prayer groups: one on Marriage, one on Prayer and one on Identity.  If you are interested in trying one of these groups,  the descriptions are below:

Our hopes for the marriage group this session is that you will understand how Jesus loves the church and in turn calls us to love our spouses.  We will pray for our marriages and better understand what the Lord intends for our marriages.  As we spend time soaking in His promises and desires for our marriages we will then ascend  and thrive with our spouses.

Prayer is our opportunity to communicate to God on a regular basis. Have you ever felt like God doesn’t hear your prayer, or you don’t know how to pray or even where to begin? During this upcoming session we will discuss biblical truths regarding prayer, learning why we should pray, having a prayer posture, and what comes next after praying. We hope this session will help you ascend a little higher in your prayer life!

The concept of our identity and where we find it can shape our beliefs, emotions and our actions, and impact those around us.  This session, we’ll look at the scriptural foundation of our identity in Jesus, as well as explore some common roadblocks that create barriers to our freely living out that identity in Him.  Understanding who we are and what we’re called to because of Whose we are due to His unending grace allows us to ascend to the places He created us to live.
