Ann BrownIf you’ve been at MWS for any amount of time, you’ve seen me around. I’m an O.G. – an original girl at MWS since the days we met in a stinky workout room at the YMCA. Or you may have seen me at the Y, where I teach some classes and you may leave my class not agreeing my with definition of “fun.” My husband, Curtis, and I met in college and have been married for 23 years and have 2 sons, ages 15 and 17. Our family enjoys sports (we have a baseball player and a football player – Go ‘Toona!), traveling, laughing and honestly, just being together at home, even when that means we have an additional 4-8 teen boys at the house. My hope is that my small group is an environment where we can explore the day’s teaching, be honest and transparent about our struggles with the teaching and living out our faith. Because, real talk: I struggle with areas of my faith and how that looks in our every day life, and as a fully entrenched boy mama, guiding my boys in the the same.

.

Lindsay Wade – My husband, Chris and I have been married since 2009 and have two young boys, Gregory and Kyle. I live life with a lot of humor, honesty and love! Professionally, I started my career in the luxury automotive sector. Once I became pregnant with our first son, we made the decision that I would become a full-time mom. Now that my boys are a bit older, I have moved to my true passion of design and I am the Design Manager for a local builder. I love getting involved when I can at my kids’ schools and I am a Championship T-Ball Coach.

In 2018, I was introduced to MWS by a friend, instantly fell in love, and I’ve been hooked ever since! This ministry has brought me so much closer to God and has brought so much JOY to my life. My hope is that each session will bring one more mom closer to Him and that it will positively impact the lives of the women in our local community.

.

Ginger Bubolo: I have two amazing boys, one in college at KSU and the other is in middle school at Mount Paran Christian School.

With a house FULL of boys, including our very energetic puppy,  I truly enjoy spending my free time with other moms sharing our journeys, passions, and love for our Lord. “And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose. “ Romans 8:28

.

Joy Martin – I have been married to my Husband Mark for close to 22 years, and I am a true BoyMom! We have three teenage boys. Noah is 19, and in his first year at Mississippi State University. Luke is 16, and Isaiah is 14. I love being an active, busy BoyMom, it is my greatest Joy!

I enjoy getting to know, encouraging, and lifting up moms in prayer along our parenting journey. Showing Gods love in the midst of our everyday lives.  I also have a strong heart for marriage, and our relationships with our husbands. Fostering our relationships in a way that brings us closer, and allows us to truly like each other, and look forward to our future together. Raising kids is just part of our relationship.  I look forward to our new session each time, and seeing what God has planned for each and every one of us.

.

Ailena Parramore: I have two children, a son in 4th grade and a daughter in 1st, and was born and raised in the beautiful mountains of North GA.  After college (Go DAWGS!), I found love in the most unexpected place – in Atlanta with a boy I’d grown up with.  Super extroverted, I love planning a good party, being a tourist, date nights and generally just being with my people.  I desire to offer a small group where moms can feel a kinship and show up each week being themselves…together…seeking God.

.

Haley Cole: I started really walking with The Lord intentionally when I became pregnant with my first son, Holston, who would be 8 and now gets to celebrate each day with Jesus. I’ve been married 13 years, have 5 other children (twin girls 7, boy 4, girl 3, girl 1 ). After walking through loss of our son, and now two miscarriages, I’m committed to help others walk in the space of grief and joy. They both can be intertwined! The Lord has called me to homeschooling and to trust HIM with our family size. I truly enjoy connecting with mamas who are on mission to be in a deeper relationship with Our Savior so we can hear those words- “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

.

Haley Ingleston: I’ve been married to the love of my life, who I met on Facebook (hello millennials), for 5 years. Our life together has been what I like to call a beautiful disaster. It’s been filled with twists, turns, and some massive hills and valleys and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We have two beautiful babies by way of adoption (2 and 3 years old) who are only 10 months apart and keep us on our toes!!! We are proud to be a transracial family that works hard to celebrate our differences. We have walked through foster care, domestic adoptions, welcoming home babies with hours notice, and losing them just as quickly.  My heart is to remind mamas that He will meet you in the midst of the mess. In a season of struggle, celebration, grief, rebellion, joy, or anything in between! He sees you and He loves you in the depths of it all. You don’t have to walk this journey alone. Motherhood isn’t a burden, it’s a beautiful gift that the Lord has allowed us to be a part of. Let us celebrate that and REJOICE in it!

.

JoAnn Aragon: I met the Lord 40 years ago, and just celebrated 25 years of marriage to my husband Gary. We met in South Florida in a group called IMPACT/Models for Christ and were worship leaders together. Gary and I have enjoyed the honor of being foster parents to 12 and adopting 7 kids, who are now 13-32, and I have 3 littles that call me Nana, Brayden 13, Bentlie 8 and Bailee 2. We enjoy opportunities to minister to people through spiritual warfare, worship and hospitality. In my spare time, I still have 4 I’m homeschooling.

.

Jessica Sweat: I am from Georgia, but spent 13 years away pursuing a dream of playing softball where I played in college, professionally, and coached collegiately. My husband Chandler and I have been married for 7 years.  We moved back home in 2015. We have an almost 6 year old son and a 4 year old daughter. My family and friends are very important to me. My twin sister and I have boys 13 days apart and girls that are 26 days apart. #twinning

I love Moms with Swords and all it stands for! I’m looking forward to growing closer to God and to each girl in our group! I give softball lessons and I’m a certified personal trainer at Burn Bootcamp Kennesaw, but I enjoy being a stay at home mom with my babies as much as I can!  I’m passionate about making the best example to our kids by glorifying God and living a life they would be proud of.

.

Lisa Garland: I have been married for 25 years. I have 4 children- 20 year old twin boys (sophomores in college), a 16 year old daughter (10th grade) and a 13 year old boy (7th grade).   I love spending time with my family, preferably outside or at the beach! I love learning and growing alongside other moms and encouraging them in whatever stage of mothering they’re in. I also love sharing with my younger moms things I wish I had learned earlier.

.

Stephanie Newton: I have been married for 22 years and have three kids, ages 18, 16, and 14 that keep me busy! My daughter and youngest son swim competitively year round, are very active in their schools, and our church. He also plays soccer! Our oldest started college this year so we are on a new adventure having a college freshman! He also has Asperger’s Syndrome, high functioning Autism. I have a big heart for moms raising kids with Special Needs. I want them to know they are not alone, that they and their children are loved by our Heavenly Father! I love spending time with my family, reading and studying God’s Word, going to the beach, and watching a good Hallmark Mystery movie! The journey certainly is challenging, but it brings great joy like no other!!

.

Brittany Flem – My husband John and I have been married for 13 years. Our entire marriage, the Lord has challenged us to follow His lead, no matter how crazy! It started with 8 years of infertility that led us to foster care – a truly wild, sanctifying, God-filled story. We adopted our 2 oldest children through foster care: Ava, age 6 and Maverick, age 5. God gave us the desire for more children and led us to embryo adoption (another story full of God winks) that gave us our youngest – Tavor, almost 2 – and a future baby we intend to transfer very soon! Finally, God led us to move our family across the country all the way from Washington State in the beginning of 2022. We moved away from all our family and friends. I desperately prayed that God would give me a Bible study group similar to what I had in WA. As Joy often says, “Won’t He do it!” I found MWS and have been rejoicing ever since at God’s providence.

The enemy wants you to feel separated, alone, and misunderstood. My heart’s desire is to link arms with my sisters in Christ through all seasons; supporting each other through joys and sorrows by saying “I see you and I’m with you”. Galatians 6:2 says “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Let’s fight our spiritual battles together. You are not alone!

.

Sara Fudge – My name is Sara and I live in Marietta with my husband James and our four boys. Anthony is 23 and a junior at Kennesaw State University. Colton is 15 and a freshman at Harrison High School. He enjoys cross country, track, wrestling, and swimming. Matthew is 8 and a second grader at Due West Elementary. He is into baseball, basketball, soccer, swimming, and cooking. And finally, Bryson is 6 and a kindergartner at Due West Elementary. He enjoys baseball, basketball, swimming, and learning about dinosaurs.
When I’m not busy being a mom, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, mentoring with Young Lives, creating new recipes in the kitchen, and reading anything I can get my hands on. While I have loved being a stay-at-home mom for the past nine years, I now spend some of my time while the kids are in school on various work projects.
I was introduced to Moms With Swords by my friend Lindsey 7.5 years ago and it has been such a blessing in my life. It has helped me grow so much in my personal relationship with God, as well as the way I view marriage and motherhood. I’m excited to connect with other moms who are looking to encourage each other and grow in their faith.
